Credentials

Janice Migliazza, M.Ed. Reading Specialist. Janice is the founder of Neighborhood Lit. and has been teaching small group reading enrichment since 2003. Neighborhood Lit. began in Janice's home with four half-day kindergarten students and since that time, she has had the pleasure to work with hundreds of students.

Janice is a 1992 graduate of Rider College with a NJ certification for grades K-12 and received her Master of Science in Education as a Reading Specialist from Monmouth University in June 2007. Janice also received the Outstanding Student in Reading award from Monmouth University as recognition of her academic achievement. She resides in Holmdel, NJ with her husband, John, and is the mother of three children, Robert, Corinne, and Andrew.
Kelly Iadarola, M.Ed. Reading Specialist. Kelly graduated from Susquehanna University receiving a NJ certification in Elementary Education and then received her Master of Science in Education as a Reading Specialist from Monmouth University. She has been teaching in South Brunswick for nine years beginning as a kindergarten teacher, then first grade, and now acts as the district's Instructional Support teacher.

Kelly also attended the Writing Institute at Columbia University Teacher's College in the summer of 2006 and continues her professional development in the areas of reading and writing. She lives in Brick, NJ with her husband, Mike and daughter, Madeline.
April Ratkoski, M.Ed. April graduated from The University of Delaware in 1989 receiving a NJ certification in Elementary Education and received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth College. She taught for eight years in Marlboro Township teaching first and second grades. April tutored homeless children in Monmouth County NJ and currently acts as Brownie leader and CCD teacher. She lives in Holmdel, NJ with her husband, John, and is the mother of two daughters, Jaimee, and Kelli.
Debbie Pantaleone, Debbie graduated from Georgian Court College receiving a NJ certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. She gained her kindergarten teaching experience in Wayside and Keansburg, NJ, coached a variety of children's sports teams over the years, and acts as CCD teacher. Debbie lives in Holmdel, NJ with her husband, Al, and is the mother of three daughters, Nicole, Danielle and Alex.
Kelly Engles, M.Ed. Kelly graduated from Lehigh University in 2002 and then received her Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Monmouth University in 2008. Kelly has taught Pre-Kindergarten in Point Pleasant, NJ and Breckenridge, CO and was the director of the Lakewood Early Childhood Program.

Kelly is currently teaching at The Ranney School in Tinton Falls as the Beginning Teacher. She enjoys skiing, baking and lives in Brick, NJ with her husband, Rob.
Antoinette Salmeri, M.Ed. Antoinette graduated from Monmouth University receiving a NJ certification and Master of Arts in Elementary Education in 2005. She taught second grade in the Perth Amboy school district for 4 years including two of those years as a general education teacher in an inclusion classroom environment. She lives in Manalpan, NJ with her husband, Anthony, and daughter Gabriella.
Erin Adelung, M.Ed. Erin graduated from Rowan University after completing a five year program receiving a NJ certification and Master of Arts in Elementary and Special Education. She has been teaching in the Holmdel school district for four years as a first grade teacher. She recently visited Shanghai, China to teach English to native students. Erin lives in Highlands, NJ.
Trina Adelung, Trina graduated from Ramapo College receiving a NJ certification in Elementary Education. She is currently teaching at CPC High Point Adolescent School and working towards her Special Education certification through Rutgers University. Trina lives in Highlands, NJ.
Taylor Burke, M.Ed. Taylor graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in psychology and then received her NJ certification and Master of Arts in Early Childhood Elementary Education from Rutgers University. She taught first grade and basic skills in South Brunswick during which she developed a love of teaching reading and writing.

Taylor serves as volunteer in her children's schools, leads her daughter's Daisy Troop, and teaches Sunday School. She lives in Colts Neck, NJ with her husband, Shawn, and their two children Madison and Connor.
