Our mission is to provide a fun and interactive learning environment where kids are motivated to improve their reading and writing skills, develop their strategic thinking and become life-long lovers of reading.

Kids can learn to love reading and writing while using some plastic eggs, a bat and ball, and a hula hoop?

Neighborhood Lit is a wonderful and dynamic program that teaches and inspires young children. My daughters, 5 and 7, have been going to Neighborhood Lit for two years and have truly developed a passion for reading. My 7 year old is now reading above grade level and my 5 year old is well on her way. And the best part of all is that they can't wait to go to class with Miss Janice each and every week!

I love when Miss Antoinette teaches me how to read. It's so much fun and we get to play games like basketball. She also helps me write better with shaving cream. It's just so much fun I'm not really sure what I like most. The only thing I don't really like is when it's time to go!
